Steve is Vice President and
leader of the firm’s MEP
operations. Throughout a
career starting in 1987 in
the consulting engineering
field, Steve’s experiences
encompass the design of
retail, commercial, health
care, industrial, and
municipal facilities.
Responsibilities have
included the electrical
engineering lead from design
concept through
construction, project and
client management, and
leading teams as well as
offices in all aspects of
technical and non-technical
activities.
With a particular focus and
expertise in the supermarket
industry early in his
career, – a sector that has
long been focused on energy
reduction, water
conservation, and
refrigerant management as
these costs have high impact
in a low profit industry –
Steve gravitated toward
having a passion for
environmental
considerations.
The development of the LEED standard, gave
further support to pursue
green initiatives, and
Steve became involved in LEED
certified projects beginning
in 2002.
Steve earned a BS in
Electrical Engineering from
Rutgers University and is a
member of USGBC,
IEEE and IES.
