background, Mr.
Banks has
provided
consultation on
over 6,000
wireless
telecommunication
installations
within Europe
and the USA for:
AT&T, FLO TV,
Hutchinson 3G,
Metro, PCS,
One2One, Orange,
Sprint/Nextel,
T-Mobile,
Verizon
Wireless,
& Vodafone
Mr. Banks has
extensive
experience in
the design and
deployment of
wireless
networks for a
variety of
operators and
technology
including GSM,
UMTS, GPRS,
EDGE, CDMA, UHF,
HSDPA and EV-DO.
In addition to
traditional
coverage, Mr.
Banks has been
involved in
various
in-building
neutral hosts
designs for the
public and
private sectors.
Prior to his
telecommunications
experience, Mr.
Banks was the
lead Design
Engineer and
Project Manager
for the $2.5M
ground
stabilization
and renovation
of Linton Lock
(circa. 1774).
He was also
Senior Project
Engineer for the
renovation of
the Rochdale
Canal, a $48M
project
involving the
design of new
highway bridges,
navigation
locks, swing
bridges, and
tunnels
including the
new canal
crossing beneath
the M62
Motorway, which
is regarded as
one of the
busiest highways
in Europe.
Mr. Banks earned
his Bachelor of
Science in Civil
Engineering from
University of
Sunderland and
is a member of
the Institution
of Civil
Engineers, the
Engineering
Council, and The
American Society
of Civil
Engineers and is
a licensed
Professional
Engineer in the
United Kingdom.
